Does anyone know what the status of Gammon is? Is he even playing this year?

Doubtful since they signed a long snapper by the name of Johnson the other day. :(

I haven't heard anything, but the official misspelling is "Gammons"

Yeah thats what sparked my interest. Sure hope we get a good one. Cause we found out what a bad one is!

I'll be sure to look for him the next time I'm at Wal-Marts.

After the long-snapper fiasco when KG went down, we need another one in camp just in case the knee doesn't hold up - and KG isn't getting any younger.

I hope he plays and plays in KC and the reason why they signed this guy is a just in case situation.

He was on 810 last Wednesday morning and sounded like him and Shields both are coming back for at least one more season. I dunno how much credit I would give to those statements though, not so much for Shields because I think he'll definately come back but I dunno about Gammon.
I've always liked Kendall Gammon as a player. There's more to long-snapping in the NFL than just hiking the ball, and he's a great one. I have really enjoyed his radio show, too. Plus, he's a GO-rilla.
I hope he rehabs and comes back to play if he wants to. It would be nice to see him go out on his own terms.

I thought we already had Kendell Gammons? True, I've never seen him in action, and he's probably half the long snapper that Kendell Gammon is, but I still think we should give him a shot.
