Northwest Missouri State mens basketball team just lost by one in the Sweet 16 to Tarelton State. The coward refs failed to call an obvious travel in the paint in the final seconds when a TS player was driving for the winning basket.
Obviously, it's NW's fault for letting them come back from a 9 point lead; but when something pretty obviously happens, I'd like to see it called.

Poor Austin, this was his senior season. What a player he was and let the A-train keep rollin baby!

He's been awesome for us. Hit some big shots, including some threes tonight. That dude has inexplicable three pointer range.

All I know is, I hate racists. I hate everything about them; their music, their food, their so-called religion, the way their men are so skinny and their wives are all so fat... but mostly, I hate the way they judge people based on tired stereotypes.

Pretty darn sweet, actually. It's a different world with limited scholarships, and thus, real student-athletes. It's futile to compare it with D1, I liek both for different reasons.

I've pretty much given up on basketball because I don't think they play by any rules any more. It seems to me that it's only traveling now if your four steps without dribbling aren't followed up by a really sweet dunk.

Yup. Northwest is pretty elite in the D2 world when it comes to national presence in the big sports.

Football: National Runner-Ups

Basketball: Sweet 16

It's been a good year. Watch out on the football end, next year. We're loaded

Northwest can't compete with the big payroll D1 schools.
