It probably wasn't the add guy's fault. He was probably given the job by a really rich, crazy *****er who wanted some slogan that used "WA" in it...

Rep to anyone who can come up with a better slogan with a "WA" pun in it...

Wow. That's rather bad.

Of course, it's better than, "What pyroclastic flow?"

Wow. What a stupid slogan.

It's moments like these that make me want to move back to Idaho to distance myself from such stupidity. Can you believe a 35 member committee signed off on this thing?

"Any good campaign is going to cause people to stop and wonder about it," said spokeswoman Michelle Zahrly. "We know, as with any marketing campaign, that not all the people are going to like it, but ... it will reach those people we're hoping to attract here."

Hey Michelle... Bad campaigns make people stop and wonder too... Like taxpayers saying "WA?"

Here's the amusing article with some good quotes:

Almost as good as our anti-littering slogan - "Litter and it will hurt".

I'm pretty sure that the 129 dead people that voted in our governor came up with this.

I'd move to Idaho in a minute if I could. The area around Coeur d'alene is beautiful and their government has a fuggin' clue, unlike ours.
