Shocks cooled off there at the end of the half, they better keep the pressure up. How many times have they slipped into auto-pilot and f-ed it up?

I hope Billy "the Fudge" Packer and Jim Nantzy boy are watching this. Yeah, that's one of those MVC teams that didn't deserve to get in TOTALLY DOMINATING a Big Least team that they hold so near and dear to their hearts.

That's right Nantzy boy..just keep doubting the MVC.

wow you were dead on about the Shock's propensity to fade.
wow you were dead on about the Shock's propensity to fade.
These guys are cardiac kids. They usually play up/down to the opponent, and even if they kick ass in the 1st half, they typically will just coast in the 2nd until it gets interesting again. I'm a WSU alum, and support my guys for sure, but they drive me NUTS!!
Shocks up 63-46, 9-minute mark. That's better...
Other games, BC and UW-M pulling away a bit.
Paul Miller 3rd foul. that's not good! Still 14 points(pending 1 more free throw), but over 8 minutes left.

Not to try to downplay this great day for you guys, because I have WSU making it to the Sweet 16, but Seton Hall sucks. Along with Air Force, Utah State, and George Mason, they're a team that Cincy and Missouri State have every right to be pissed about.
They played a weak BE schedule, Cincy played a very tough BE schedule. Their resume is terrible. Yet they get in and the Bearcats are left out. Ridiculous.
I agree, I also have WSU in the Sweet 16, but only due to a friendly draw. I'd also gone on record a few days ago, that they had 1 and out written all over them, if they got a bad draw against a very physical inside team.
But I'll also point out, that with Seton Hall a questionable at-large team, WSU should advance, and looks like they will. So at least they are taken care of bidness so far.
Shocks up 16, 71-55, with 5:08 to go.

Yeah, but there is still a point to be made, because many, as Nantz and Packer went on about, think that even the best Mo. Val school doesn't stand a chance against even the mid-level major conference schools. That was the only point I've tried to make in defending them... and a lot of people don't even believe that... that they were gonna get trounced against "real" competition.

Agree with everything except Utah St.It's funny... I say they don't deserve to be in, then pick them to knock off UDub.

Gotta make those free throws. That might be Hall's only hope, as poorly as we've been on free throws.

Other games, BC in a tight one, OU still trailing UM-W by 8, under a minute. I'm gonna miss that one, couldn't pull the trigger. Damn Okies!!
Not too bad for a team that doesn't belong in the tournament.

The radio announcers say this is the first WSU NCAA tourney win in 25 years. It's been a long wait.
That must have been the win over KU in New Orleans.
