There is a Windows version. MactheRipper is nice but it does not support HD.

If you have any problem with newer dvds, just intall this to run in the backgroud.

Shrink actually works really well to rip too. Easier interface to use to determine which files you actually want (I tend to rip a lot of TV show DVDs).

Yep. The little green guy is AWESOME!

Also, if you are having trouble, go into the re-author mode, pick the main movie, and move the film start slider to right before the movie starts. The reason is, there are some that have a short part there that will read as no disk in programs like DVDShrink and make a bad burn.

Great Tip thanks.

I use to use DVD Decryptor w/DVD shrink.

Now I use DVD shrink with FREE DVD to decrypt. It seems much faster.

Then burn it with NERO.

If your a novice, and dont want to mess with all of this you can use a simple all in one program called DVD xpress. You sacrifice alot of options and the best looking picture but it usually isnt that noticeable unless you are using a top of the line Hi-RES tv.
