Kris Wilson is the obvious candidate.

I like Kirtman and Vickers. Two different style of FB, and I think Kirtman probably fits KC's style more.

Given the choice of re-signing a Pro Bowl caliber FB, or using a draft pick that is probably better spent elsewhere, I'd choose to keep T-Rich.

Everyone is overlooking the obvious answer to this question; it's Rich Scanlon. :D

We've already got him, Ronnie Cruz. There's a reason we kept him on the roster all year.

Drafting FBs has worked so well for us the last five or six years. Yeah, let's do that again.

Yes, I'm sure he'll be fine. WTH else would they keep him around?

I wouldn't rule it out. Maybe the guy will feel more comfortable going back to FB. They guy is still salvagable unlike the Ryan Sims bust

Yeah... he was planting people last preseason. Vermeil praised him about it. I remember at least once SportsCenter even did the whole "spot shadow" thing on him because he had so many good blocks in that Rams game.

I think the plan was that it would eventually be Chris Wilson. Problem is he hasn't shown anything.

I agree! He can also play HB if need be, has good hands, good speed, plays special teams, and came across as a nice young man.

Runnels will probably be available in the latter rounds, maybe even on the second day. It wouldn't be the worst pick.
