I believe it was Quincey Scott (d-lineman for the Chargers) if I'm not mistaken. I don't remember where I heard that, so I could be wrong. I don't even know who the hell this guy is.

Yea, me too. Why would I want my team to try and improve?

Just out of curiosity, are there any decent FA's left? I'm pretty sure Ty Law is still out there, but he is the only big name I can think of? anyone else name a few please?

It's a win/win for the whiners here. Pass on guys like Ryan Denney and DeQuincy Scott and the team "isn't trying."

SIGN guys like Ryan Denney and DeQuincy Scott and the team is "cheap" or they "don't care enough to do what it really takes."

See, I'm not bitter enough to completely ignore the simple fact that bringing these guys in IS TRYING to improve. I'm also not egotistical enough to believe that the only moves that are right for this team are the ones I want them to make.

With names like these they're just trying to fill spots with warm bodies. Worst part is we'll probably pay 3 mil a year to one of these bench warmers.

And if we still have the same ole crappy D, what are you gonna say?

And if we still have the same ole crappy D, what are you gonna say?

Same thing I've said before...that it's still the same old crappy D.

I'm done getting wrapped up in this team emotionally. I can't change one damn thing - they're gonna win or lose regardless.

So I'm just gonna enjoy the ride, and when the ride gets bumpy, I'll find something else to do for a little while.

That's a good way of putting it.

Awesome! Another thread to remind us how UNcommitted our teams' front office is to NOT winning championships...

CP wouldn't entertain KJ at the moment because of a pending visit from DeQuincy Scott? Yeah, he would've tied up the remaining 9 million.

It's like watching a car wreck, but it takes much longer.

Oh well. I'll wait for the draft and let the team take some more shape. If we don't look better by then, I'll worry.

Evidence: Eagles/Chiefs game on NFL Network right now.
