Has anyone on Earth actually gotten Windows Defender to update? Or does everyone's just sit in the tray and nag you that it needs updated, but refuse to download any updates?

I installed it on the PC of a customer of mine a few weeks back. Never updated, and I went back yesterday to remove a spyware program that went right through. I'm sure it'll be worth something when they get it all figured out, but it's pretty useless right now IMO.

ROFL Who needs these features when we already have Firefox? ROFL
As a matter of fact, I wouldn't use any Microsoft product until it has been officially released and at least a year old. They are technically always in Beta in my opinion.

I tried IE7 beta for a few minutes, it was just weird. All buttons were way off the the right, except the back and forward buttons were way over to the left. And there was no refresh button that I could find. I'll stick with firefox.

Wait for IE7 to stabilize if ever in a year....
Firefox by then will be more features ahead of it.
These M$ guys are really behind the 8-ball worrying about how their existing code base for older tech
eg. asp,net etc will have to remain functional. IMHO.
