Oh well both teams are young this could be next years match up as well. It was just great getting to the finals.

Vlad,

I had no idea you were a Bruins fan. But, Remember; They were down by several points when they faced Gonzaga so they aren't done.

Maybe.

It is not so much them being done as the lack of team play that has me concerned. I was worried a young team like this might get overconfident after that semi-final. Seems the Gators coaching staff did a better job preventing it.

I'm not picking either side, but the officials are just horrible today.

Of course, I'm biased because I picked Florida to win it all...
(the rest of my bracket was pretty much a disaster, however)

It's too bad that a tournament as exciting as this one has been ended up with a Final Four and Championship game that were meh.

yup, the first 2 weeks were as exciting as any...but the result was weak teams in the final 4...and the end result was boring, terrible basketball...

Some examples

1940 60-42 Indiana stomps Kansas
1952 80-63 Kansas stomps St Johns
1968 78-55 UCLA stomps North Carolina by 23
1969 92-72 UCLA stomps Purdue by 20
1973 87-66 UCLA stomps Memphis State by 21
1976 86-68 Indiana stomps Michigan

and the worst stomping of all time

1990 103-73 when UNLV absolutely destroyed Duke by 30

well, you're right..I'm not 80 years old...Hmmm I assume you are older than 21 though so how did you forget the UNLV debacle where they won by 30

I'm over 21 and had forgotten too but then again I'm not looking for worse losses in the championship than the one my team just suffered. ;)

We have infilicted some pretty bad losses on other teams over the years in the Championship game. In the end talent and team play win out. Props to the Gators
