Good stuff. Hopefully they are back in KC soon to support the album. Always a great live show, no matter the venue size.

FWIW,if any fans haven't had the opportunity check out the DVD they released a few years back called Silver. It's their 25th Anniversary concert in their hometown and includes alot of special guests including Slash, their kids playing and singing and even a song featuring one of their kid's high school choir.

Really a great show.

Bob Dole was disappointed with the Rundgren-led CT. It just sounded like a mediocre cover band...

???

Me thinks that Bob Dole is confused. Todd Rundgren is fronting the Cars. He did produce an album for Cheap Trick in the 80's though. Next Position Please.

Good show, nice retrospective since they played at least one song from every album to that date. The Special One DVD is great for getting a perspective on the bands' personality, its not much of a performance piece though.

Hey all Planeteers who are big or casual Cheap Trick fans, you all should get their new album, it is that good. With this one, they do not break new ground because they do not need too, they put out stuff that harkens back to their hey-day or perhaps prove they still have it. Rock and Roll!!!!!!
