Just thought I'd let everyone know if they wanted to watch it.

ROFL

In Mannings little package about a draft making or breaking your team they show him lighting up the Chiefs.....

Dunit35
04-11-2006, 06:32 PM
Yeah, I've been waiting on it all day.

Mecca

I wish I had Mel Kipers job.

I wish I had any of their jobs.

but John Madden is on the NFL Network & he said the best coaching change was Shell to the Raiders

I think Vince Young is way overrated. I also personally think the Texans should take Ferguson instead of Bush.

Mecca
04-11-2006, 06:38 PM
I'd never take an offensive lineman first overall.....Bush is the top rated player they have to take him just on talent level.

The guy who traded a 2nd round pick for A.J. Feeley is talking about trading, and is their "in house GM". I find that highly amusing.

The guy who traded a 2nd round pick for A.J. Feeley is talking about trading, and is their "in house GM". I find that highly amusing.Probably because all the good GM's have real GM jobs. And Carl Peterson is currently employed as well.

Kiper calls Merrill Hodge a dumb**** in a round about way......

Dunit35
04-11-2006, 06:45 PM
Kiper knows his stuff but he's a huge d bag.

Mecca
04-11-2006, 06:46 PM
Well Hodge generally is a dumb****, so I found that pretty funny.

Dunit35

Nate Burleson is not worth 7 yr. 49 mill.

Mecca
04-11-2006, 06:49 PM
Nate Burleson is not worth 7 yr. 49 mill.

It's really a 4 year 14 mill deal, it's heavily backloaded.

'Hamas' Jenkins
04-11-2006, 06:49 PM
Hodge is a f*cking Moron. Everytime I hear him say "factor back" I want to bash his skull in with a lead pipe.

'Hamas' Jenkins
04-11-2006, 06:49 PM
Burleson's deal is the poison pill deal meant as an "F' you" to the Seahawks.

Dunit35

Oh, well then that makes a huge difference. He's worth that much then.

Dunit35

Burleson's deal is the poison pill deal meant as an "F' you" to the Seahawks.

Yeah I know. But I sure could've found a different way to say F you to a team.

'Hamas' Jenkins
04-11-2006, 06:50 PM
I guaranf*cking tee Dallas does not win 10 games this year. The first game they lose, T.O. will rip Bledsoe and throw him under the bus in the media.

Mecca
04-11-2006, 06:50 PM
Why is the draft show taking 10 minutes to discuss Terrell Owens. Well there it is, obviously the Cowboys are going to do well since Rick Spielman says they aren't. Always go with the opposite of that guy.

Mecca
04-11-2006, 06:52 PM
If the Cowboys pull a draft even remotely close to what they did last year, they'll be an 11-12 win team.

'Hamas' Jenkins
04-11-2006, 06:53 PM
Yeah I know. But I sure could've found a different way to say F you to a team.

It's them specifically calling out Minnesota for the way that they structured Hutchinson's contract. It has clauses in it like Burleson gets XX million if he plays 5 games in Minnesota in one year, which he will never do in Seattle. That is why it's called a "poison pill".

Dunit35
04-11-2006, 06:53 PM
Seeing Al Saunders makes me super pissed.

Mecca
04-11-2006, 06:53 PM
Jesus Christ, Rick Spielman is getting more dumb by the second.

I forgot all about that "poison" pill clause.

I wonder how much Mel makes? Anybody want to take a guess?

'Hamas' Jenkins
04-11-2006, 06:58 PM
I imagine he makes 7 figures through various avenues...which is ridiculous for a guy who has one semester of community college under his belt.

Probably quite a bit, during football season he's on ESPN radio all day. So he does do things all year even though no one ever notices.

I don't even need to be Kiper.. I'd just love to be one of the tons of guys Kiper probably has that watch film for him. I mean cmon, you know there's no way he watches all that film.

I didn't know he was on ESPN radio all day. I bet he does make a nice chunk of change.

Hey check out my draft in the geeksplanet forum.

Do you think we'd take Cutler if he falls to 20?

Jim Jones
04-11-2006, 07:00 PM
Is Rick Spielman really complaining about Matt Leinart's 40 TIME? The quentissential pocket passer.. doesn't have a fast enough 40 time?

I'm getting dumber by the second watching this guy.

Mecca
04-11-2006, 07:01 PM
If Rick Spielman really thinks that size/speed thing with Leinart will affect how good he is, he's a complete tool.

"He's 6'5 and ran over a 5 second 40 yard dash"

Is this guy getting paid by ESPN? Seriously.

'Hamas' Jenkins
04-11-2006, 07:01 PM
WTF is Spielman talking about, being over 6.5 and running a 5+ second 40 means that he won't be an elite QB...as if he were 6'4" and ran a 5.8 40 he'd be a lock to be the next Marino

No kidding. He's 6'4 229 and is a pure pocket passer. What do they want him to do, keep up with Reggie Bush in the 40?

I thought those other three were idiots. Then I met Rick Spielman.

'Hamas' Jenkins

Nothing better than a panel of idiots to discuss Vince Young.

Mecca

Then they had the Texans dumbass GM on.....it was a round table of fools.

Mecca
04-11-2006, 07:21 PM
LOL, Rick Speilman now says Darrell Jackson has excellent hands but lacks speed.....um I'm pretty sure he's got that backwards.

Mecca

Considering he's been the Texans GM since they first came into the league and they're picking first yet again. I say his record speaks for itself.

Hodge just said that none of the QBs except for maybe Cutler are worth a 1st rounder. Then he added that Kellen Clemens is better than Leinart.

Brutal.

Same guy that had Mike Williams #1 on his board last year. Now his own teammates are saying he doesn't have the heart or drive to be an NFL WR, and they are thinking of converting him to TE. ROFL I'm SO freaking glad the Lions took him off the board before #15!!

The draft special was utter crap. They concentrated on the top 10 players(who they believe to be top 10) for the most part and didn't even discuss all the teams and their needs. An hour and a half and they can't discuss all the teams?
