Sheffield homers for the second-straight day in the first inning. Solo shot this time.

Bautista throws 19 pitches in the first inning, allows only one hit. Looks like another starter won't make it out of the third inning again today. Stretch that bullpen a little thinner.

They are to most. However, I give them out for free. It's of no cost to you, so you should enjoy them when offered.

the past couple of years, it has been bad to win 2/3 from the White Sox. Last year it was the start of our 19 game losing streak.

At least Denny kept the walks down today. He wasn't great but he wasn't horrific either.... still had 1 BB and 7 K against a brutal lineup. Kept us in the game. At least as long as Sisco doesn't melt down again...

Woohoo. Sisco saves the lead....oops, well at least he did not dig a bigger hole for us.

And Sisco gets out of it. Now get him outta there so he has something good to build on.

Yep. Denny didn't go "Affledt", and settled down after a rough start.

I'm glad Buddy sent Sisco back out. Hopefully the kid can get things worked out before he gives the team no choice but to send him down.
I'm curious to see if he comes back out for another inning. I hope not.

Yeah, it was also a smart move by Buddy because he didn't just wait for the 8th inning for the heck of it. He brought him in early in the 6th because it was the left-handed part of the lineup.... Giambi, Matsui, Cano, etc...

Please answer this. You have Stemle in the game and he just worked a 123 inning. The following inning you have a right handed hitting Alex Rodriguez coming up....so Bell brings in a Lefty to face him because there are lefties after? Why not let Stemle face A-Rod, then bring in the lefty? You see what happens anyway....B-O-M-B! Smooth move B.Bell.

Is there a pitching prospect KC hasn't ruined in the past decade?

Stinnett was 1-5 with 4 K's so far this year....he was due.

Technically speaking, Appier was still a Royal within the decade.
