A friend of mine is looking for a new car. I told him that I'd help him find what he's looking for.

He'll probably spend about $100K. He wants a car that he can drive all year long. Therefore, he wants an all-wheel drive car. But, he doesn't want an SUV or something like that. He wants a car that is lightening fast, corners like it's on rails and nimble as a cat.

Any suggestions?

I told him about the Porche Cayenne. It's a sports car and SUV hybrid. Supposedly, it's super fast and all-wheel drive. He's interested in it, but he would prefer more of a traditional looking sports car, rather than a hybrid.

Porsche 911 Carrera 4, Carrera S, Carrera 4S, and Carrera 4S Cabriolet are all 4WD/All WD.

Audi's new S8 has the Lambo V-10 under the hood.

For 75 grand you can pick up the new RS4, which is supposedly the baddest Audi ever built.

For 100 grand what about a Porsche Carrera 4S? That's all wheel drive and it's a 911, so it's bad.

That may be one bad ass vehicle, but he won't want it because it's a 4 door sedan.

If he wants a sports car, he doesn't want a cayenne. It won't corner at any speed at all, and compared to sports cars of a similair price it'll feel ridiculously sluggish. Porsche is pretty much the only way to go if he wants a true sports car. Can't he have RWD? Then he'll have alot more choice.

He wants an All-wheel drive vehicle because he wants to drive it all year round. Right now he has a sports car for good weather and a Chevy Suburban 4x4 for the winter months. Many RWD sports car are horrible in the snow and bad weather. I know it's not in the same league, but my RX-7 was so horrible to drive in bad weather that you might as well park it and stay home.

Tell him to get a 911 then, it's probably the greatest drivers car of all time.

Do they still make the Nissan Skyline? Last I heard they were up in the 80k range and had to be imported. Apparently they are lightning fast, but not sold in the US.

You can import them, make the street legal, are very fast can be 4WD.
Right hand drive.
Left hand drive can be brought in from middle east.

Two I know of in STL area. both RHD.

The Japanese call this car "Godzilla". It was so bad-assed that it ended some racing circuits in Japan. No one could compete with the Skylines.
