I propose an Empty Seat Night for the next Royals home game. Nothing says you suck like 25,000 empty seats.

How is that different from any other game?

That's actually a great crowd. Good thought, though.

If you REALLY want to show community displeasure, keep everyone out except for 20 homeless drunks. Pay them a bottle of ripple each to sit in the cheap seats and make slurred catcalls.

Because Lord knows, you HAVE to be drunk to watch this team take the field.

Dang. The dude in your avatar is making the same face I was making when the Devil Rays scored the 7th unanswered run on us. Well, that and I was squeezin out a beer fart at the same time.

You could go check out the new stadium across the state and watch a team that is trying to win. I'll buy the first beer.

The empty seat thing might work. Here in Miami, the "fans" have done the empty seat thing for most of the Marlins' 13 year history and they have gotten 2 World Series trophies out of it.

Im starting to get the impression that Glass has been pulling a "Major League" the past few years. Intentionally running the team into the ground in order to eventually move the team to a more profitable city.

It was Tampa Bay a game you could win.
