I was watching that "Battle of the Gridiron Allstars" where they take players from each conference and put them in different events. Larry Johnson is supposed to be on one of the next couple shows.
Anyway, Day 1 of this year's competition had a team of Peyton, Lynch, Hines Ward, Joey Porter, and Todd Heap. The AFC did a great job winning the first two events. They lost the fishing contest only because Eli on the NFC caught most of his team's fish.
So then we get to the obstacle course. The AFC has better times on 3 of the 4 rounds. Except for Lynch's round.
John Lynch looked like a dipshit on the monkey bars, which slowed him down a lot, and also managed to **** them up, earning the AFC a 5-second penalty. He's slow on the slolam run (as he is in every kind of run) and when he finally gets to the wall climb, he tries 3 or 4 times to get his old ass up the wall, but keeps coming up short. Clinton Portis wasn't doing too hot on that wall either, but he at least managed to eventually climb over it. No, John Lynch didn't even make it over the wall. He ran around it and took a 10-second penalty.
The AFC lost by 5 seconds.
John Lynch needs to get kicked in the balls by the other members of his AFC team, because he has brought shame to this conference.
