Why does Allard Baird still have a job? :banghead:

I am not one to ever condone internal fighting. But I think the players need to grab the pitchers by thier necks and threaten them within an inch of their lives if they don't stop walking every one!

I'm still saying 73 - 89. Mark it down.

Allard isn't hte problem, it's the douche bag players that need to step it up and be accountable for once...

I hate to break it to all you n00b Royal fans, but historically the Royals always suck early in the year. And the month of April most of all.
It's 2 weeks into the f*cking season and everyone wants to write them off. Hell... I'm at least giving them til June 1st. :)

32 wins is being a bit optimistic, innit?

Well, I've figured all along it was gonna be a slow start. We should be better than this, but this early part of the schedule is rough... having to face the White Sox and Yankees and Indians and Oakland all in the first month. We play 19 road games against those 4 teams by May 31. Then we only play 10 home games the entire month of May. The schedule sets up for a better 2nd half. After the All-Star break we have a stretch where we play 17 of 20 at home, alternate a couple weeks, then play 15 of 21 at home. That's practically a huge chunk of the entire home schedule right there. Of course the idea would be not to be 30-70 by that stretch too. I just want to see us get healthy at this point. We can't even do that right at the moment.

Could it be those pictures of David Glass he has in his Plaza condo?

I think it's about 33 wins too many.

I don't know if I can stomach a historically bad baseball team. I was worried at the end of last year that it would happen. They have to break out of this eventually. At least that's what I keep telling myself.
