Jenny Gump

My son is with his dad all day, and I copped out on Easter altogether. I would rather mow my yard today. Plus I'm a little hungover and don't feel sociable.

My parents and sister are getting together for lunch, sans me. The mom thing? I don't really want to hang out with my ex...so I can't say I'm a bad mom.

Selfish to spare them the wrath of my headache? No, I have rationalized this as something I am doing "for" them. lol

I think it's cool you let your ex spend Easter with his son.

how can that be a wrong thing to do?

feeling "guilty' is indicitve of what a good mom you are.

I see no problem with it. Mow that lawn girl.

If I could skip out on seeing the family once and a while I would. Esspecially if there was a hangover in the equation.

I see nothing wrong with it. As long as the kids have fun. I skip alot of family gathering. I always visit my parents, but it ends there. I dont do the big ones where all the families get together.

My mom invited me to go to her boyfriend's sister's house today. My dad invited me to go to TK's mom's house with them. I've had a three day weekend. I've gone out and done stuff everyday of it. Today is my bum around at home and get some laundry done day. Actually, I didn't want to go with my mom, and, if I went with my dad and she found out, I'd never hear the end of the how much I love my dad more than I do her guilt trip (according to her, I'm still like 13), so I'm avoiding that. I do need to get my laundry done though. ANd I have two movies to watch.

Your mother is a manipulative idiot then. The sooner you kick her in the teeth the sooner you can get past her control issues and move on with your own life.
