I need a good program that can convert the frame sizes on MPEG 2 as well as a program that can convert MPEG 2 to .VOB (for use in DVD Shrink). TMPENC won't work b/c I'm importing stuff from my Tivo, and the frame size isn't standard. I found a good program called YASA, but I don't want to drop 35 bones on it. DVD Lab Pro looks tougher than balls to use.

Thanks for the help.

I haven't found a tool on it where I can convert an MPEG 2 to .vob (I realize that these are more or less the same, but I can't use DVD shrink unless it is a VOB or IFO). I've also been too damned ADD to use a command line editor like mplayer. Yasa looked great, but you have to drop 40 bucks for it, and I can't find it on torrentportal

dvd lab pro will convert the mpeg2 to a vob... actually it creats the video_ts folder with the vobs and ifo's in it.
dvd movie factory will do it too... and so will nerovision, according to http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/125/59/ and videohelp.com

dvd movie factory should be the most flexible, i'd go with that i think
