The desire to see us lose every game is really growing in me. I really want to see if we can lose the most games ever and do it faster than anyone too.

Atleast we were in this one. This offense is really pathetic though and Sweeney needs to be dropped down the lineup, like batting 6th or 7th so he can maybe get a pitch or two. Put Emil at 3 and Teahan at 5. Minkaahwdoiwahaozz is pretty damn weak and should be 6th or 7th.

The Royals are on the front page of ESPN's website tonight. That ought to be worth something.

I'm still annoyed cause it's early in the season, i wanted us to be competative and atleast hover within 5 games of .500.

I mean I didn't expect us to have a winning record, but I know we are better than THIS. This team is not worse than last year's team. It just can't be... possible.

This team is a joke because the managment is a joke. Allard Baird sucks ass as a GM. No use bitching about Glass he isn't going anywhere. Adn regardless of the reason he did up his $'s this year for the players BAIRD PICKED.

I really don't know what to put at it, combined with injuries to pitching and the incredible walk ratio, not to mention the offense has no chemistry going. Our best hitter is batting .128 and we aren't sacrificing to get back into games. Alot of this has to go on Bell as well!

I backed Bell last year when a lot of people bagged on us getting him. This team lacks leadership from the top down.

I'm a lifer sox fan.

I have been surrounded by Royals fans since 1982. I used to say the same stuff posted here. I really envied y'all.

I know your pain.

Cheer up, you could be Cubs fans.

Instead of wasting all that money upgrading The K for such a trash team, why not kick the Royals out of the proposal and use the money that would have gone to them, towards building the rolling roof over Arrowhead.

I'd rather have an NHL or an NBA team than the Royals, atleast they'd compete.

If there is a rolling roof can we tie the Glasses and Allard Baird to the rails when they first run the thing?

very true. the NBA finally came to my city and I hope it never leaves. It's a great atmosphere and Stern has built a much better league. Selig should be shot in the street.

At least the captain SAW the iceberg (albeit too late to change course). The difference is Baird wouldn't know an iceberg hit him even after he hit the bottom of the ocean.

At least people outside of Chicago root for the Cubs... and are aware that they still exsist.

Agree in principle. It's tough not to get bogged down in the doldrums of a 9-game losing streak.

But, based on projections, Pujols is on a pace to hit 110 homers and knock in 220 runs. The Mets are on pace to win 123 games.

I am trying to take solace in the belief that it can't be this bad for the entire season. Get back to me in about 140 games or so and we'll see how it works out.

However, both Royal victories were come-from-behind. One overcoming a large deficit and the other with a late inning HR from a .140 hitter right now. The Royals could very easily be 0-13 right now.
