The ball was in the dirt and the catcher couldn't find it, so he started for third the catcher found it and got it to third quickly...got him in a rund down.

He wasn't trying to steal, just trying to advance on a passed ball.

Thank god. Affeldt has looked really good the past 2 times out. He could have gotten the win last time, but as usual, no run support.

The thing i noticed about that 11 game losing streak. First off the Yankees at yankee stadium, we havent beaten them there in awhile and it was their home opening series. The Devilrays, we havent really beaten them since they've been around, they've always won the series against us if i remember correct. Then the whitesox, we always lose to the whitesox, especially at their home. So it was just a streak of teams we havent really ever had any luck against at all. Things probably wont get much better, but it is looking fairly bright for the Royals. Thank freaking gawd!!
