Definitly would have preferred a better performance out of LSU in the final four.

I think they would have matched up better with Florida.

We already beat them in the regular season and in the SEC tournament. That being said, it would have been difficult to defeat them a third time. Then again, we completely dominated in the Final Four. Especially inside.

Has anyone on Florida declared for the draft yet?

No, and I don't expect anyone to. Horford, Brewer and Noah all made statements that they are returning. I see them around all the time (they live in the building next to mine) and they all act like they're returning. At the spring football game yesterday they made an appearance and played it up to the alumni crowd.

Our poor shooting in the tournament was due to cost us at some point regardless of whether is was the semifinals or the finals.

They're going to be the team to beat next year. Fu*K North Carolina.

I don't understand why Tyrus Thomas is going pro. If anyone it should be Big Baby. Although I don't look forward to facing him again, it's good to see guys stay in school.

I can't really blame Thomas for going pro since he is looking like he will be a top 5 draft pick. The one that made no sense was Bass turning pro last year. He fell out of the first round and hardly played this season.

I think Florida took advantage of playing in a tourney with a bunch of inexperienced teams, there were alot of upsets and I still think the best team didnt win IMO, but they took care of their business when they had to. Florida will not win it all next year again and it would be stupid for Noah to come back if he was considered to be a 1st rounder.

Big Baby is the player if any who shouldnt go pro. The guy wouldnt be a threat to anyone in the NBA. He's way too small to play down low, and doesnt have a mid range game at all.

Hell, if anything he needs to keep dropping weight to be a better PF prospect. 6'9" 310 is hardly undersized for the low post.

Whats he gonna do when he drops his weight down? Take it out a few feet and shoot it? I've seen him listed as 6-9 but on TV I've heard people say he's around 6-7.

I always figured that he was around 6-8 or so. A tad short for a prototype PF but not that big of a deal. Many think he needs to drop a little more weight in order to keep up with the NBA game and even if he can get down to 275 thats a big PF. He also has pretty decent range for his size. He is not an elite prospect but should be around mid first round caliber.

Well we obviously have two different viewpoints on this :) But I will be surprised if he gets drafted, epsecially with all of the potential freshman exits (meaning one and done in NCAA) next season.
