Mile High Mania

Well, looks like the Broncos' hopes for reaching the playoffs rest on Gus. Like I said in response to our Raiduh friend from the islands... this happens in the NFL. I'm not sure that this could have been avoided by him not playing after the injury on Monday Night or not. Either way, we'll see what they can do with Gus.
I would like to curse BroncoFan straight to hell for throwing the jinx out there... you suck. Really, in al honesty ... you suck.
As I said yesterday, Denver was still chasing the wildcard with Griese at QB after the sweep of the Raiduhs. There is still a chance, thanks to a weak schedule, but I don't have a lot of faith in Gus.
I hope that Griese recovers fully and is able to continue to improve and most importantly, mature as a Top 10 QB in Shanahan's system.
I still believe that Denver can finish above .500 for the year. And, I still don't question the decision to let him continue to play on Monday night.
Call me a blind homer, or call me a KC fan in hiding (BroncoFan). BF, you know that I could care less if you were hit by a truck or not, right? http://63.249.247.210/ubb/biggrin.gif
I think that the return of Terrell Davis will help Gus, but I haven't seen much out of him this year when he has been asked to step in. Maybe a week of prep with the 1st team will do the trick.
GO BRONCOS!
ps- for all of you rejoicing in the season ending injury, you all suck and are not true fans of the game
