what will Ty Law get?

Woodson should be all over that. With his injury history, he shouldn't expect much more than that offer.

That deal is close to Lavar's and he's younger and better. Then they could have traded down and had their pic of any CB they want in the draft.

That's about as good as she could have done.

Depends on how it's structured, and what the guaranteed money really is....

I wish we had done more too. But overpaying Charles Woodson wasn't on my wish list.

Sheet! I would love to know how much of that contract is backloaded. Most of it, I would assume.

Adam Sheftner just reported on NFL Network that it includes 10.5 mil for the first year.

I'm assuming that's signing bonus and salary combined.

I've always known that Woodson was a Pecker ... it's the getting paid for being one that is news.

7 years? That seems like a lot of years.

Realistically, how many more years is Woodson likely to play?

Well, so much for getting Favre any help on offense.

Is it just coincidence that they announce this right AFTER Brett says he's coming back? :hmmm:

Well, so much for getting Favre any help on offense.

As I said, that figure likely includes the signing bonus, so in actuality 10 mil is probably pro rated over the life of the contract.

Sheftner just worded it in a way to make it seem that the first year is a big number.

Is it just coincidence that they announce this right AFTER Brett says he's coming back? :hmmm:

I highly doubt it.

The Pack have a massive amount of cap space available, C-Wood's hit this year is a drop in the bucket.

I am shocked. This makes the Carlton Gray and Lew Bush signings look decent.

$18M in the 1st 3 years of the deal. I thought the Packers had stated earlier in free agency that they weren't going to throw money away just because they had cap space.

This signing does not make much sense to me. That is a boatload of money for a marginal player.
