Fat Elvis is on the mound for the royals. Lets see if the offense can actually put up more than one run tonight.

I got ten bucks that says he doesn't make it through four innings. He got smacked around in the minors. You know the Twins have been looking forward to this.

Since his ERA in Omaha was 10+, we had better score more than 1 run tonight. Otherwise this could get ugly.

Bako is catching tonight.

I like it when Bako catches because I can say

Bako Bako Bako.

Try it, its fun.

I thought fatboy would take a dive tonight, too.
Good for him. KC needs as much pitching as they can get.

It'd be nice to see him get a win and build some confidence.

SPchief
04-26-2006, 07:54 PM
In order for him to win, we'd actually have to get him some RUN SUPPORT

Fat elvis has retired 12 straigt.

Nice job Fat elvis.

Honestly, I think he's more concerned about the offense getting 12 hits so he can collect his free dozen doughnut from Krispy Kream tomorrow.

How in the blue Hell is Runelvys doing this? I thought for sure he would give up like 8 ER in 4.2 innings. He's been spectacular so far.

tk13
04-26-2006, 08:49 PM
Runelvys is a battler. He's lazy about his weight but he definitely is a fighter on the baseball diamond. Gotta love it. Outstanding performance tonight. That's assuming he's done. He's only at 82 pitches but it is his first start. I just hope we can get him, Greinke, and Bautista on the mound in the same week sometime this year... not to mention Affeldt if he keeps pitching like he did the last couple starts.

Well according to the paper today, Bautista says he feels 100% fine, and he's been throwing, but the team is being super cautious with him. He seemed kind of frustrated about it. I don't know.

Our lineup is not decent. The only lineup in the major leagues that I would not immediately swap it for would be the Marlins. Maybe the Nationals or Rockies. No AL lineup with a DH.

The problem with Sanders is that he's very prone to hot and cold streaks.
