OK heres something fun to do with the draft coming up. Pick any player in any round for the Chiefs draft this weekend on this thread only. You get positive rep for each correct combination pick / round picked. You are welcome to do all picks or just the 1st.

It may take a little time to rep everyone due to daily limitations but every right answer = rep and I'm not even running for the Chiefsplanet Madness! ;)

Have fun...

Dave

I'll say Tamba Hali from Penn State in round 1. Beyond that, I'll just be spitballing.

I dont see much upside from Hali to be honest with you. Ill actually be pissed if we draft him over the best corner availble at that point.

I have to agree I'd like Tye Hill or Joesph myself...

2) Derek Hagan - Wide Receiver - Arizona State

3) Eric Henderson - Defensive End - Georgia Tech

5) Eric Smith - Safety - Michigan State

Brad Smith is a bit of a homer pick, I'll admit.

2.54. Mathias Kiwanuka, DE
3.85. David Pittman, CB

Win-win.

I win if we make the picks, but the draft sucks, so I win if we don't make these picks.

When is the last opportunity to post? Can we wait until Friday night to see any last minute draft position trades?

I'd like this but I don't see Kiwi slipping to 54. I like the idea though!

Why? We don't need a CB.

I don't care if you agree or not. I don't think we have a dire need at CB, and neither, apparently, does the team.

I missed on my first round pick, but I had Brody Croyle in the third! Any love from my fellow draftniks? :)

htismage, I think the Chiefs know they need a second CB, but a rookie isn't going to help them this year. I think they have a sense of urgency and I also think that they think Ty Law may be in KC's future.

I will predict this...Surtain's running mate at CB in 2006 isn't on the current roster. Do you disagree?

I know the question is for Parker, but hope I'm not stepping on toes here.

I disagree.
I think the starter opposite Surtain will be either Battle or Hodge, and I'm leaning toward Hodge.
