I'm confused about this "number of threads with 100+ posts."

How would you even know how many threads User X had started that had 100+ posts?

and why would anyone care anyway?!

I rarely start threads. I view myself mainly as a troll/interloper, and have some weird feeling that if I create too many threads I'll be considered overly annoying.

Usually I just chime in with my $0.02 and then leave quietly. On the political threads I'll stay around more, but I haven't created one of those in months, IIRC...

and besides, who really cares??

note to self--this idea of posting small-font-size comments with Skip is brilliant -- I can insult with him without him even knowing about it. At his age, he needs a magnifying glass to read the regular font stuff...

 If you prefer, I could go the Taco John route. Start threads that piss everybody off.

"Pats Rule, Chiefs Suck, HAHA." etc. ad infinitum

Not my schtick. Heck, I bet I've started fewer threads than nearly anybody in the 8-12K post range.

You're too slow witted to compete with my wisdom. I have webtv. I have a 35" monitor to read the Planet on. And who cares? Why do we keep track of number of posts per poster?

There's a reason the weather comes at the end of the 6pm news. It soothes them and prepares them for another thrilling round of Wheel . . . of. . . FORTUNE!!!!

Don't sweat it Skip.

You know what would be a cool idea for a thread? You should start a thread asking how we all met our wives. That would be badass, and you would feel better. It would get 350+ responses, easy!

I don't know, why? So people can run around calling other people n00bs I guess. I never do it so I wouldn't know, really.

And if your "wisdom" involves such weighty, cool and exciting threads as "Is it storming in your area", then I must truly bow down to your awesomeness. :) :p

Bob Dole doesn't have that kind of time. Bob Dole is a busy man.

FWIW, gochiefs really does have about 90 threads with over 100 replies. When all his ID's got merged the database fails to track all his thread stats. I spent a little time dicking with it and he has a whole lot of unallocated 100 reply threads. You're pissing the in the wind, Skip.
