That crop of safties looks really interesting. Though I could see Simpson and Watkins going rather fast tomorrow.

I wish we could trade up and draft Pat Watkins or Bing...or Simpson.......or Watson.

I hope they draft someone I'm not familiar with, like they did with Jared Allen or Fuj (who I say did more than enough for being a 5th rounder).

I would like to see us focus on a WR first, but I don't see KC getting Ko Simpson. I would still love to see them get Ko, don't get me wrong, but from what I hear he's a little slow on the uptake which means it may take a year or two for him to get everything, which is fine by me. Long investments reap big rewards.

Don't be suprised to see them go with someone else, and still be a good thing.

Ugghh. It's going to be excruciating watching that list of players melt away through the next 1 3/4 rounds.

It'll be like standing in line for concert tickets, slowly getting closer, but knowing in the back of your mind that they'll be sold out before you get there.

I agree.
If he falls to the 5th and is drafted by the Chiefs, I'm just calling him Zem.

Engle Martin is a QB propect that I think is very interesting. Big kid with excellent speed and a great arm. I watch the combine workout for the QB's and he had a arm on par with Cutler's and seemed to be very accurate in the throwing drills. Was the teams punter and also played some WR at Florida before he transferred. I can't imagine the Chiefs spending another pick on a QB with the signing of Printers and now with Croyle but this kid could be a nice sleeper for some team.

I really like Zamatis also...probably long gone before we are on the clock again however.

Ingle Martin is terrible. When he was at Florida he would consistently one-hop the ball to receivers. He has one good game in his career at Florida. Actually, it was one good half because he got injured and sat out the rest of the game. That was the game against Miami 3 years ago where we were blowing them out yet Miami came back to win. Ingle had to go play against much weaker competition to do well and I don't ever see him amounting to anything in the NFL.

Actually, the year after Ingle transferred the name for my fantasy football team here at school was IngleMartin4Heisman.

I like Zemaitis.
Gone. With the commentary that he's the *perfect* CB for Tampa's cover 2 system with tremendous, tremendous character.

I heard that and knew immediately who Herm wanted most in the 5th.

Bummer.

I hope the Chiefs take Rod Wright. He is a first round talent and with the right buttons pushed could be a star.

I thought SD might take Wright there.

Whew!

Now, how about the Browns?
