OT win would be sweet. If not for the bad calls in game 1 on Kobe we would have swept...(if we win today.)

He misses too many free throws down the stretch for me to agree...

and the lakers would win that one, too.

how ****ing amazing would it be to see LA in the finals? That would solidify Phil as the greatest coach of all time.

gotta give credit, they have completely changed their offense, to screw up the suns

but nash was fouled at that jump ball
sour grapes I know

I don't know if we can pullthis out

amazing game. i believe nash was fouled there at the end, but your not gonna get that call in LA when the games on the line. Kobes good but I dont think well ever see another jordan for quite some time

I hate the Lakers, and I didn't see a foul. He might've called timeout, but he definitely wasn't fouled.

I don't think it needs to be solidified, he is the best.

Nash could have just passed the damm ball, that is what gaurds should do when getting trapped and double teamed.

In the league, yes. But ever? That's debateable.

I never said he was afraid of anything...but I've seen him miss several free throws down the stretch, even in this series, along with in the past. I don't remember ever seeing MJ miss a free throw, let alone a shot really...in the closing minutes of an important game. Kobe is a great player, the best in the league, but he still has a long ways to go before he can be mentioned in the same breath as MJ.

I do not follow basketball before the playoffs. I must say that the change in the Lakers offense is remarkable. From the headlines I read all year Kobe scored every point for the Lakers all year.

The power of the zen has transferred to Kwame and Lamar (at least in a series where we face no front court or defense.) If this continues in the next series we will win the Championship!

Oh Baby what a play!

No, they don't really have a chance to win the championship. The Lakers are winning because they are dominating the post, which isn't hard to do against Phoenix. They will have no chance to do this against San Antonio, and they are going to struggle mightily against LAC if they make it to round 2. They may have to revert to 95% Kobe against the Clippers.

'struggle mightily' in the post, is what I meant. I think they'll beat the Clippers in 6 or 7 if they can advance past Phoenix, which isn't a done deal yet, I bet it goes 7.

Odom has really impressed me this series; he has grown up a lot. Kwame is still a big poon.

Well, he does have 25 @ half but Cleveland did expand a 3-point lead to an 11-point halftime lead with LeBron on the bench.

Considering the fact that we were on the outside looking in on the playoffs 3 months ago...the tide hasd turned.

We did get a good draw in the Suns. I think we can take the Clips. From there it is all gravy.

I guess it was a smart move to keep Kobe instead of Shaq after all.
