FYI
Maybe if Time Warner gets off their azz and puts the NFL Network on my cable I'll see this someday.

Fuggin NFL Network. Pimp Hali and 5 commercial breaks later, still no story. And even worse, they just ran highlights of Tiki Barber's big day vs. the Chiefs last year. What's next? MORE Chad Johnson?

Finally. Good story.

Highlights:

*Tamba has an older brother named ... Tamba.

*Tamba's first memory of war: A plane shooting up his neighborhood. It took a long time before he stopped hitting the ground when a plane flew by.

*Upon arriving to the U.S. he was put in the 5th grade even though he couldn't read or write.

*Basketball was his favorite sport as a kid. He took up football reluctantly.

*1st football philosophy: Put your hand in the ground, then go get the ball.

*Currently studying for U.S. citizenship.

*One of his brothers was murdered.

*His mother and three friends were shot and only his mother survived.

*Wants to bring his mother here and wants her to know that she didn't have him in vain.

BEST QUOTE: "Sacking the qb isn't as fun as sacking him the 2nd time." ~ Tamba

Thanks for posting that-Very cool!! Damm I like this kid. If he fails in the NFL it will not be from lack of effort. Maybe Our team will rally around his story and help him get his mom here.

No problem. It's a moving story. I'd be shocked if his mom wasn't here before opening day.

In his favor money will get her out of that hell-hole she's in. Keeping her here may be a different story.

Hell maybe we should all take our kids out of school, take the day off of work, protest at the courthouse and bring this country to it's knees to keep her here.

It seems to be having the opposite effect for the Mexicans. He doesn't need to get her here, he just needs to get her out of there.

He might have a play for political assylum or some other such thing, though.

Walt Disney presents, "Tamba."

"It's the feel good movie of the year!" raves the KC Star!

"I haven't cried like this since "Little Donnie Edwards" says Dick Vermeil.

I thought Tamba's quote went like this:

"What's better than sacking the QB?"

"Sacking him again"
