Yup; all true.
Esteban German will play the majority of 3B starts for the time being, and probably Wood or Gobble will replace Mays' next start.

Yeah, Teahen has been stinking it up, but this makes little sense to me.

Guiel deserved a spot from the beginning.

What a worthless pos you must feel like when the Royals demote you to the minors because you're not good enough to play for them.

Heck, why not. It can't get much worse than 6-20. At least Guiel has shown some pop in Triple A. He isn't a savior, but we've been hemorrhaging outfiellders lately - especially with Reggie Sanders tweaking a hamstring last night.

Can we get rid of Buck too?

It shows the sad state of this franchise when Flanagan is campaigning in the paper for Gueil to be called up. As if Gueil being here or not would make a difference...

Anyone:
Emil Brown: Strike looking, Ball, Ball, Brown grounded out to second.
Aaron C. Guiel: Strike looking, Ball, Ball, Guiel doubled to right.
Angel M. Berroa: Strike looking, Berroa reached on fielder's choice to pitcher, Guiel out at third.
John Buck: Ball, Buck grounded out to pitcher.
End of Inning (0 Runs, 1 Hit, 0 Errors)

Runner tries to go to third and gets thrown out, I guess... that's a fielder's choice. The runner wasn't forced to go.

I'm certain that was my point, a base runner should be savvy enough to know whether they should advance from second w/ one out on a hit they know they can't make it to home on...

A two hitter through five innings...on anyone else's team that would be aces...

Well according to that thing you posted, the ball was hit back to the pitcher and Guiel got caught off the bag.

Neither did rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic make sense, but they did it anyway.

It's rather easy to imagine Buck and/or Teahen sitting in a crappy dive of a bar in 15 years explaining to their fellow barflies:

"No...really, I was traded for Carlos Beltran....I'm serious."
