Apperently you have missed ESPN Draft coverage last few years when the Chiefs are about to pick. ROFL

DV says he'll stay retired this time.

Said he didn't follow the draft this year.

Said Priest Holmes may be the best player he coached.

LJ just needed time to mature and is proven, but wants to see Holmes come back.

His advice to Herm is "win, because that's the only way you are evaluated".

Says he won't go into broadcasting this year. Was contacted by the NFL network, but wants to take a year off and see how he feels after that.

In Jacksonville to play in a golf tournament with his friend Tom Coughlin.

Say retirement is "right now" couldn't do it another 5 years, so time to quit.

Priest is one of the best he ever coached.

Larry has the potential and just needed some maturation time. Wants to see Priest play more.

Advice to Herm Edwards - WIN

Will not go into broadcasting for a year then consider it.

Not much else. Sorry didn't know what they would talk about they asked him about the draft selection process and he said you have to up to date on evaluating players.

Today Tom McManus mentioned that he spoke with DV Sunday night before the golf tourney, and he asked DV about the Jags 12-4 schedule, and DV said he think much of their 12-4 season because they didn't play anybody.

One of the guys then said "he's just bitter because he didn't get to the playoffs"

McManus resonded with "say what you want but he's right and you could argue the Chiefs played better than the Jags, remember the Jags were 3-4 against winning teams and teams play 16 games."

I thought it was respectable that a Jaguar homer like McManus stood up for DV instead of rolling over and agreeing with the others.
