You decide. Tubbylock is the host of "Rome is Burning" today. (I guess we know what his next article will be about.) His "takes" so far:

Don't blame Kobe for the LA loss. It's all the dope-smoking, over-rated "Dr. Phil's" fault.
It was a travesty of justice that Steve Nash was chosen MVP. Should have been LeBron.
De La Hoya is a fraud and should retire. His last opponent was a chain-smoking, trash-talking farce.
Barry Bonds should be celebrated. His "enhancements" mean nothing and do NOT diminish his accomplishments. And anyone that says different is a hypocrite.

That's about it. No surprises, considering his track record.

5. No one cares what Whitlock or Rome say. They are both morons.

Didn't think that show could get any worse. I was wrong.

used to find his radio show humorous, but now i prefer to listen to something else. all his jokes are recycled, and his callers are morons.

Whitlock and Rome on the same set?? Did they have enough room in the studio for both those dipshit's egos?

Whitlock did a pretty good job. It was good.

"Rome is Burning"

Good God this abomination is still on the air? Yes, both the show and the host was the intent of that first comment.

Morons, yes. Although, I would add, wealthy, famous morons. Sadly, they both have huge platforms (insert fat joke here). And as a result, people do care what they're saying. Let's just hope that tubby's strike-and-drive-the-Chief's-out-of-the-playoffs message to L.J. doesn't get national exposure on ESPN.

His delivery was surprisingly good for a newspaper guy. However, some of his opinions are horrendous. Advocating the use of steroids and chiding anyone that disagrees is a sad use of the medium. Typical "pot-stirring" for the sake of self-promotion.

1. Blame the Suns for wanting it more than the Lakers did.
2. Steve Nash had better numbers this year than he did last year as MVP.
3. De La Hoya kicked the shit out of Mayorga. He's on his way down for sure but if the fight had been close then Whitlock would have had a leg to stand on.
4. "Enhancements" mean nothing? Bullshit. They take away Gold Medals for "enhancements". They ban people from the sport because of "enhancements." People go to jail for selling "enhancements". Get real, Jason. Even you might have gone to the NFL if you had shot up with enhancements.

Back in the day....when Rome was just a local guy here in So-Cal....he was damn funny....but then, like pretty much anything, the schtick got old.

Whitlock shot up with "ENHANCEMENTS" alright, but A full rack of ribs, and a quart of Baked beans every day does not get you into the NFL.
