Name (at least - hopefully this thread will uncover more) Chiefs who's sons have played in the NFL.

Edit: I have found 9 total Chiefs whose sons played in the NFL. We're also naming Chiefs whose fathers played in the NFL while were at it. Here's what we have so far. There are still a couple big names out there.

Chiefs whose sons played in the NFL (9 total)

Ed Budde (Brad played for the Chiefs)
Bobby Bell (Bobby Jr. played one year for the Jets and one year for the Bears)
Caesar Belser (Jason played most of his career with the Colts but fininshed in KC)

Chiefs whose fathers played in the NFL (8 total)

Brad Budde (Dad played for Chiefs)
Jason Belser (Dad played for Chiefs)
Rob Thomas (Dad Aaron played for 49ers and Giants in the 60's)

I'm interpreting NFL losely to include leagues that eventually merged some of their teams into the NFL.

OK, there are many more than 3. Caesar Belser is right.

There are a bunch of Chiefs who are sons of former NFL players too.

Intersting, but as far as I know, none of Len Dawson's seven fathers played in the NFL.

Elmo Wright's son Rod Wright was just drafted by the Ravens. He would have been a high rnd pick but he has a shoulder injury.

that'll make 3...

who else?

If he makes the regular season roster, that would be one I did not know about.

I had Budde on my initial list of fathers. There are still two more, plus a few guys I missed. I'll give the day crew a crack at this one before I start giving hints.

Feel free to list Chiefs whose fathers have played in the NFL as well.

Did a little research (yeah, Google). Didn't know Bobby Bell had a son in the NFL 'til now, or that Robb Thomas' father played, too.

Yes, Bobby Bell had a son (Bobby Jr.) that played a couple years in the NFL. I bet I'm the only one here that can say what dorm floor he lived on his freshman year.

Think this may be mistaken for
Pam Dawber character Mindy on 'Mork and Mindy' TV Show, her real claim to fame

Pam Dawson is only a character name that I find. Mr.Deeds movie
or unknown real estate agent.

There are still 3 or 4 Chiefs that were fathers or sons of NFL players that someone could know.

Still on one list or the other:

A current Chief
A former starter at QB
A role player for the SB team
A #1 overall draft choice, though he did not play most of his career with the Chiefs.
