Alot of what I expected to see based on commercial success which for me personally are usually the albums I dislike the most i.e. ZZ Top's Eliminator,REO's Hi Infidelity etc.

It was good to see old school Aerosmith on there though.

I was a little surprised to see Alanis Morrisette and Hootie & the Blowfish in the top 15 (although I do like the Alanis album). The Top 10 didn't surprise me at all.

Why did I think that Dark Side Of The Moon was the all time best selling album?

I know I have heard that before.

Yes for both 100/200So if that's the case, why wouldn't they have sold the most albums?

Not sure if top 100 is Album sales or just Radio play?
If sales remember: LPs were like $3-5 back then.

So if that's the case, why wouldn't they have sold the most albums?I think Billboard is a combination of things, including sales and radio play.

That's what i thought too.

We were having a discussion about it; which is actually what led me to Wikipedia for the link.

I am just typing this to get that "Ms. Underwood ruins a good rock song" thread off of the top of the list.

Two words: Billie Jean. That's, like, the best pop song of all times just-about. You can't disagree with the awesomeness of the Thriller album and still be ****ing human.

I don't understand the bad pop. Just cause he raped little shavers doesnt mean he made bad pop.

Talent. It's the only pop music I will ever like.

What he may or may not have done in the way of promescuity has no bearing on the music. None. That was a truely worthless post.

Wow, ChiefsPlanet strikes again. What could have been a solid thread was hijacked by Wacko Jacko and his Band of Boys.

I was glad to see the Beatles, Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin so many times up near the top!!

Cards fan, yes, stupid JackA$$ fan like ALL teams have NO.

Enjoy watching good baseball, the Cardinals put a good team on the field regularly, unlike some teams.
