Yeah, but I HATE Gary Glitter. I mean, that guy is a creepy looking dude, and I just hope he doesn't get any royalties off that song.

He gets MASSIVE royalties from that song. I worked at Universal (then MCA) music publishing and without disclosure, the amount was very large.

The copyright department, which had original copyrights, sheet music and 45's going back to the 30's had all the song files in the "basement" file room. There were several, unbelieveably hilarious pics on the sheet music, including Gary Glitter. Some the temps took photo copys of those and placed them strategically throught the enormous filing room. Suffice to say, it could either be funny or scary...
