Here are the top ten in receiving yards in Chiefs history.

Tony Gonzalez 7810
Otis Taylor 7306
Henry Marshall 6545
Carlos Carson 6360
Stephone Paige 6341
Chris Burford 5505
Eddie Kennison 4269
Derrick Alexander 3685
Fred Arbanas 3101
Willie Davis 3014

It's a little surprising to me that Eddie is the seventh-leading receiver in Chiefs' history.

Looking at that list just shows me the Chiefs having good recievers has been few and far between.

What? No Gloster Richardson?

Gloster Richardson ranks 28th, behind such notables as Tony Reed, Lake Dawson, and Jonathan Hayes. Interestingly, he is only slightly ahead of the 31st-ranked....Johnny Robinson.

Eddie is entering his 11th season and he finally topped the 1,000 yard mark in the last 2 seasons with KC. EK can definitely jump into the #3-4 all time range for KC.

Yeah, he was only around for 4 years and only saw spot duty.

Frank Pitts wasn't much of a receiver but he kicked the Vikings ass several times during the SB with that little reverse he ran. The 51 G-O Reverse.

Frank Pitts is #25, and he too trails the illustrious Jonathan Hayes, who is 24th.

Pitts added 238 rushing yards to his receiving yards, though (regular season stats only).

No Webster Slaughter, no Chris Penn, no Sean LaChapelle? Seriously though, I loved Carson/Paige. That's when I first started following the Chiefs. Both were underrated and played in an era of HOF receivers.

Eddie Kennison 4269 needs some solid years to pass these...
3.Henry Marshall 6545
4.Carlos Carson 6360
5.Stephone Paige 6341
6.Chris Burford 5505

I don't see him getting to 2nd.

I agree, John L Williams should be on a Chiefs best of list somewhere also

I remember JW writing an article after SlyMo's 3 TD game that said Otis Taylor was ready to pass the torch to him...
