I was thinking of organizing a charity golf outing.

Maybe get some Chief players to attend. Maybe you get a chance to play a round of golf with a Chiefs player?

Would anyone be interested?

I play a couple times per week. Would be interested in playing depending on the pricing...

Scientists have not quite identified what it is I do on a golf course, but they say it can only loosely be categorized as 'golfing'

I am in.

My older brother played at some charity event at the Lake last weekend. He ended up being teamed up with Casey Wiegman in a 4 man scramble and he has not stopped bragging about it to me. Apparently, Herm and some Offensive personnel and some 2nd stringers were also there... I could not get many names from him since he was too drunk to remember when he met them.

I like golf but am horrible at it. I actually killed a bird out of the air on a shot.

That doesn't make a birdie, but nice try.

You should at least get a trophy or some medal for that accomplishment

I used to be good, played in college, used to be good for a 75. Since I've played four times in the last 3 years, I probably couldn't break 85, but I'd definitely be interested in playing. I'd have to pick Dante Hall to play with.

What do you think? I can get the whole team out there and you can pick which player to hack up a golf course with? That would be nice but that ain't gonna happen. I don't have that kind of pull. :)

I play almost every day. I'm still crummy. But I'd do this in a heartbeat.

Ya, golf is so cake. You just sit on cart, drink beer, and wack a white ball. Great sport.

Not really, I'm starvin' right now. I had to get through the last two years of college on my own. I had no time nor money to play golf. I probably won't either for a couple of years until I get settled with a job and financially.

I would vote Ironhorse in Leawood as the place to pick this dream outing. Love that course the couple times I've played it. Very affordable too

I wish I was close enough to participate. Some days I resemble playing the game and others I just have the equipment.

Have clubs at the ready at all times. Unfortuatly this year unlike the last few years has been to far in between rounds.

It is great to get out. I have been working with my Grandson, he had his first day on a "real course" last Sunday. It was day we really enjoyed together.

Very cool. Some of my early memories of playing golf were with my Dad and finally hitting the ball in the air for the first time.

A bad day of golf is better than the best day of work.

I would fly home to play. Depends on when it gets organized. I am in the middle of building my house.

Any Chiefs player who would pair up with me would feel a ton better about his game after the round was through.

Better make it a municipal course. I feel better about chunking those up rather than clubs.

sorry, it's probably going to be at a fancy pants club with lots of BMW's in the parking lot. We could all go as Rodney Dangerfield?
