I'm excited to see the US play the Czechs.
I'm basically excited to see it all, though. This will be the 3rd Cup I've watched, but the first where I was really looking forward to it, and had a little better knowledge about what was going on.

If only there was a way for both teams to lose that match.

Absolutely none. And I don’t even call it soccer, I call it sucker. Because if you love to watch sucker it’s only because you have fell into the globalization trap the liberals want you to buy into. The huge media push of sucker is simply to get Americans to “be like the rest of the world.”
Well screw that. I’m an American and I will watch American sports. While watching American sports, I will polish my rifle and then after the game go out and kill some helpless woodland animal. Then, a few days later I will eat the tasty woodland animal while watching more American sports. Since the “rest of the world” can’t do this, I say….

Good, go watch your sucker….

Or something like that………. ;)

US v. Czech Republic - IMO our tournament may well hinge on that game. I don't see us losing to Ghana and I think we can get a tie at minimum with Italy.

If the US loses do you think all 47 American soccer fans will be dissapointed or will they simply move on?

The only game I am looking forward to the championship game, then the whole thing will be over and we will be closer to American football.....

ROFL that was a good one. They'll probably just piss in bags chuck it at each other and trample each other to death in the stadium. Happens all the time at soccer games.

I been watching the World Cup pretty hard core since the one in 94. Been hooked ever since. They get more excited about wins and loses then in any sport i ever seen. its amazing.

I like watching the Germans and Brits as well as the US in the World Cup. It is about the only soccer I am ever interested in. Brazil has some talent that is out of this world but I just find their domination over the year a little like supporting the Yankees.
