Derrick Johnson beats everyone to the ball on an outside running play showing off his blazing speeds today at OTA's. It doesn't take long to
figure out who the fastest player on the linebacking core is. Derrick
Johnson will be entering his second year with the Chiefs and still has some questions about his play. The chiefs fans hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. " I just hope he isn't a Lazy piece of **** like Ryan sims is!" Exclaimed local chiefs fan Rod Johnson. Local fans have been praying for anyone who would atleast try to get in the way of opposing players for years. For DJ to exploit all his talents he is going to need help. Sims either has to start getting push or gain enough weight to be a run stopper like Ted washington or Runelvis Hernedez. Tambi Hali promises to demand some attention from other teams offensive line despite his lack of speed, height, size, stamina, and speed. Derrick Johnson will have to continue to improve his pad level to not give up any ground on running plays. Tapes from last year showed when he got his pad level down he was average against the run. We will see this year if derrick johnson takes the steps toward being a elite linebacker. As a fan I hope he can be a sideline to sideline monster playmaker.....and he will.....if he gets help.
