I have one -- bought it at Borders in Lee's Summit. Not bad, nothing special.

It's like a million other workplace cookbooks. Hometown cookin' stuff. Only reason to buy is novelty factor, IMO.

Why isn't there a Chiefsplanet cookbook?

I've made the "William Bartee Toast" before, and it's pretty good.

But did you do it without turning your head?

FWIW, those things are a real pain to put together. The last church wanted to do one, even though I wasn't too hot on the idea. We finally sold enough to pay for the cookbooks. They still had boxes and boxes of them after we left.

What they SHOULD do is put together a tailgate recipie book. That one might really do something.

GRob's Jell-o Gelatin Defense Surprise

-Start by trimming talent around the edges and throwing in garbage. It won't be needed

-Take one secondary and let age for 2-3 seasons. Set aside.

-Add overpriced linebacker free agents to the middle

-Liberally coat over with drafted DL busts and more lard.

-Add the now old, slow, weak secondary and top with washed up free agents

-Present as a steaming pile of shit to a loyal coach

-Enjoy for 3 seasons
