I've been thinking about this after browsing sites like kbb.com. I know there's tons of sweet rides I've never seen. For right now, I'd have to pick the Rolls-Royce Phantom. I like old school stuff, and that car seems like old school to me. I think it was in one of the Bond movies. Plus the $332,750.00 price tag and 453 HP. I don't know if I'd ever take it out on the road, but it would sure be nice to own

For rides in the realm of affordability I'd go for a Jaguar XK8. They run ~$80k.

For an out of the realm I'd go for an Aston Martin DB9. They start at ~$160000.

Yep 69.. she was pretty sweet then. Ran mid 12's on street tires and flowmasters.

She had a 430 HP 350 in her with 3200 stall and 4.10's with a posi. Very nice.

Now she is getting sanded and a fresh coat of chevy orange with white rallys. Then a fresh 525 hp 350. 4000 stall and same rearend. Probably another year or so out before she hits the street agian.

No hurry.

The Corveep’s been have’n some troubles.
I think I told you ‘bout blow’n up the front ring and pinion pull’n a friend off a gravel bar in the middle of the Neosho River during the holidays last year. I’ve replaced that and have 4WD work’n again but my radiator fan quit last week, almost overheated it, and the rear output bearing is go’n bad in the transfer case.
The output bearing is my fault. I rebuilt the transfer case when I put the SM420 transmission in and after several months of driving I noticed the rear output shaft had too much endplay. So I adjusted it, removed spacers, but when I did I set it up too tight think’n it’d bed in. Problem was, it was already bedded in so there wasn’t any more room for “bedding” and I basically killed the output bearing.
Live and learn I guess.
