I'm not sure there's anything normal about tv or the Royals, these days. :D

How funny would it be if the Royals swept the birdies.

Yes indeed. Sweeter than sweeping the Yanks at the K.....

That squeeze bunt call by LaRussa was ballsy, but I think it was a bad call. You have one out, bases loaded, and a guy in Eckstein who almost always makes contact... if he can put it in play somewhere you have a good shot of winning. Instead he tried to squeeze with two strikes and blew it.

He's just a good, solid all around player. I think the signings of Grudzielanek, Mientkiewicz and Sanders have worked out much better than the last two years' efforts. At least these guys are hard-working pros. Not like the Juan Gone, Santiago, Eli Marrero debacles of the last couple of seasons.

I was saying the other day that it seemed like Teahen had grown up a lot since going down to the minors. Before that he looked literally like a lost little child up there, scared out of his mind, now he looks confident as a mother ****er waiting to bash the ball, which he has done prety well lately. Yeah, i was suprised to see him send Dejesus from 1st on that, he is a decent runner but not fast. If that was Gathright he would've been in and that would've been fun to see. Athletic move by Dejesus jumping over the catcher but his momentum took him way far.
