Yeah I work for the gov. also. All of the old timers split for the week. I did take off for Wed, Thur and Fri though. Heading down south for a few days.

Well if it makes you feel any better, you are helping to fuel the economy with the wages you will earn and then in turn spend at some wonderful places that will pass that money along to their employees in the form of wages and benefits, that will keep the unemployment rate down which will keep inflation in check and will more than likely fuel this continued bull market. Thank you.

We won a project doing surveys at a festival, so I've been out in a sun hat all weekend asking people to do surveys. I figure that if I'm going to make my employees work a holiday weekend, I should be there, too.

Bob Dole took 10 hours of vacation leave to have the day off, since July 4 isn't one of our paid holidays and we have to work 4-10's to make up for being closed.

Oh, the hell of having a paid spring break and an extended Christmas vacation...
