...I caved. It's fun. I got it home and actually stood at the back door waiting for the dog to bark incessantly. I couldn't wait to use it. Does that make me bad? I don't really care.

Bad-eh just a little cruel-but it sounds like your dog has it coming. I say shock the bastard-lol

Be careful. If your dog is at all smart, he'll learn to associate that collar with the shock. You pretty much have to leave it on all the time, or he'll see no-collar time as free for all time.

What? Are you kidding me? It's collar on, all day, all night. We have 24 hours a day of shocking fun at my house.

Does it (the dog) make funny noises when you use it? If so, can you describe them?

Thanks.

"Will" is such a general term. Can one ever truly express their will? Just use a safe word and everything's on the up and up...

I had to put shock collars on my dogs neighbor complained to the HOA. That my dogs barked during the day. Well couple days of them wearing them and it's was much like Jenny said BARK BARK [Shock] and then silence.

After a while one of my dogs kinda figured them out and would BARK [pause] Bark [Pause] and so on. That said the collars worked. I know because the neighbor that complained put a note of thanks on my carport.

at first I typed howling like a hound dog, but decided to keep within the barking theme.

I got what I think is an illegal 'sonic dog deterrent' thing for the next door neighbor's dog that barks its nuts off at 6:15am every morning.
