Marty Schottenheimer

The milkman. :)

Honestly though, if it had been up to me, Marvin Lewis would have been named HC in 2000, and I think he would have had more success than Dick, and would still be running things.

If I had my way...

Bill Walsh would come out of retirement and make a new scheme that would make us go 14-2.

Of all current coaches... Cowher. And I've thought that for well over 5 years now.

I wouldn't have minded if we traded a fourth round pick for Bill Belichick.

After them, I wouldn't really prefer any other current nfl coaches over Herm.

I think Leif Garrett would have been a good choice

Barbra Streisand. She would whip these bastards into shape.

The problem is that they would raise ticket prices. Plus, she might not show up for some of the games.

If that's a concern, then cross off Axyl Rose

You'd be perfect for the job. :D

Actually, my first choice would still be Trgovac.

Denzell Washington did a hell of a job with the Titans if you remember. :hmmm:

Denzel would be a good choice or Gene Hackman. He did a heck of a job with a basketball team in Hoosiers.

Outside of them I wanted the DC from the Bears. I can't recall his name and I'm too lazy to look it up.

Rather then another retread, ex coach of {fill in team here} I wanted a yound NFL assitant that could grow and be OUR HC. Instead we got another retread. Oh well. *shrug*

Hackman did a good job with the scabs in "The Replacements" too...

Sorry I didn't see that one. As a general rule I avoid anything with Kneu Reeves in it. I did make an exception for the Matrix movies. Outside of the 1st one I wish I hadn't.

I still believe we made a wise decision, Herm appears to be strengthening the D and for the most part won't mess with the O, and even if we do run a tad more not all that bad considering we do have LJ and probably Priest coming back. So long winded answer. I like Herm!

Parcells, hands down. Hey, we probably already have a supply cabinet full of geritol and depends, so why not?

I would go with Jon Voight. He won something like 22 district championships and a couple state titles. Even though he was a dick and the team ended up hating him.

Billy Bob Thornton took his small town team of little white dudes and almost beat that big-ass gangsta school from Dallas.

Trgovac. School of Jon Fox. Best of both worlds - Fox worked for Parcells AND worked at SDSU - the Coryell family tree.

Beh. It took a 74-yard desperation play to win the championship, and the only reason the play worked was because #12 blocked something like six guys on the play.

(I just saw the end of that movie two or three days ago.)
