So they're showing a kid, Andrew Pointer. I don't know what he has, I guess it doesn't matter.

All he wanted was to meet Todd Helton, and they made him a member of the team and everything. He signed this contract and got to go through batting practice , the whole nine yards. And then Helton said he would make a hit for him, and sure enough he did. The kid was totally ecstatic cause he knew that was his hit.

The point that got me was when they told him he was going to go get to see him. The smile on his face was nothing short of awesome...

Anyway, they're having 10 stories. I had seen some of the ones before, but for some reason this one seemed really cool... Nice to see someone who is going to have to struggle his whole life to have it the way it should be, even if for one day.

Sorry about the sappines. You can find what it was all about here:

I've seen this. Being a Seattlite I read the one about the girl who wanted to meet the Mariners. It's cool that these guys are willing to step up for some kids that probably won't be around to even remember it in 10 years.

Got to hold the Super Bowl trophies, AND run onto the field in a uniform. He said he wanted to meet him cause Tedy was a guy who overcame heart problems to be successful.
