Ok, I already mentioned this is my first time with season tickets, but I would like to get a consensus. I bought a reversable home\ away jersey of DT about 6 months before he left us. I wore it once, and then put it away. So should I wear it with pride to the games, or keep it put up as a collectors item.

I'd frame it...and possibly put one of those light things above the jersey.

I would wear it and then knock the crap out of the first guy you see wearing an Elgay jersey or a Fader jersey. DT would have wanted it that way.

It depends on how nice it is and how long you want it to last.

I would wear it. but, then again I'm an OU fan.

If you are a Notre Dame fan, you never know when it will reach greatness again, so I would definitely save it as long as possible.

Rock on! And yes he would. Very fitting. The condition is almost brand new, no stains, rips, very prestine. I just couldnt bring myself to wear it after the accident

I wouldn't wear it. Then again, I'm a collector.

The one downside to collecting and framing is that it gets expensive quickly....if you want it done right.

Here's a couple that I haven't gotten framed yet......

Some waiting for autographs, some just waiting.

I was thinking of getting it framed. About how much to do it right? Nothing extravagent, just a nice protective type thing. If I did that, it would sure be the centerpiece of my living room, probably my whole house.

Okay, get it framed and then bust it over the head of the first.....

A reversible jersey? Heh. The framing will be worth more than the jersey.

Wear it on gameday.

If you want a DT jersey in a frame, spring for an authentic.

I used to have one of those reversible Reebok DT jerseys that they sold at Footlocker. It was fun to wear the same color as the team, be it a road or home game, but the white side looked a little pinkish.

You should wear it, its not worth much money, besides why would you want to sell it? Also, I'd be willing to bet that DT would rather you wear it than hang it up on a wall.

if autographed, I wouldn't wear it.

but without an autograph, it ain't much of a collectors item, so wear it.

which reminds me of a story:
One day on the bus to school, a friend of mine was wearing his autographed DT jersey.

I said, "Are you f*cking nuts? Don't wear that sh!t, you stupid ass-hat."

He said, "My mom is friends with him. I can get it autographed as many times as I want. I even wash it sometimes." :shake:

well...needless to say, he wishes he hadn't washed it now

Ok, cool, I think I will go ahead and wear it then, proudly! So if you see a new looking 58 in the upper corners of Arrowhead this year, thats me.
