Seriously, I was considering him very high in both of my fantasy drafts. Looks like a second round value pick now..

Thoughts?

easily

Roaf plays (played) left tackle. He wasn't the entire line.

Will Peyton Manning trade in his vagina for a penis?

He'll run until he breaks. We're never passing again.

The question with Roaf gone is a lot more about pass protection than it is the running game.

He will easily get his 1500 yard if he stays healthy. Only questions are red zone scores without TRich and Roaf.

I bet this will push people to take Alexander over LJ in fantasy football, but you have to be kidding if you think only 1 K.

Yea- can I get in on your fantasy draft? Geez, if you're going to put him into the second round, I think I'd have your azz beat.

I put him at like 800 until he catches on fire after Dfensive players tackle him at the very spot where Roaf would have been blocking them

IT would seem to me that most teams would simply stack the line, or take turns ear holing Green. That IMO doesn't bode well for his potential this season, sans a probable 4-12 record and a high draft pick to look forward to.

I would advise YOU not to take LJ. He's going to suck. YOU should also place a large wager on the Colts in the playoffs since they always do so well in big games.

Uh, oh...Vlad has a new challenger to his ridiculous question threads, honestly though - I find it curious that a guy from a team that hasn't won a ring in the same timeframe as KC would come here to instigate, but hey - he's from Indiana, what can you say...

your and idiot

in the 3 games that Roaf was out AND LJ was our starting RB

85 carries 450yds 4TDs, 5.29ypc

over a season that would be

453 carries 2400yds 21TDs

Don't expect those numbers, but to say that he might not even reach 1000 is dumbassery at its finest.

Give him a break dude he is a colts fan. He's like the tard that got out of the yard we just don't have a warning sign we can hang up.

I think we should start saying LJ is nothing without Willie Roaf... running angry/to prove something seems to work.

LJ runs angry becuase the new Miami Vice movie sucks...that makes him angry.

I could be totally wrong, but with our offense being more run-oriented with our new HC, we might find that although VERY useful, Roaf might not be AS crucial to our puzzle as he was last year. If they do stack the line, Green is smart enough to take advantage of this on passing plays, even without Roaf.

Not to mention, the replacement will have the entire training camp and preseason to get in-sync with the line. I've heard from a lot of analysts the most important aspect of an O-line is to be one. When a person gets injured and is thrown into the mix without practicing a lot with that starting team, they lose that. I don't know how much of an improvement it would be, but we might find the person replacing them is sufficient provided enough time to learn the other players on the line...

I don't know that thread was fun. Looks liek it might have been zapped or moved to another forum. Some people think we get too mean spirited sometimes but I had a lot of fun with it considering I was never a lets all hold hands and skip kind of guy.

I don't think we make the mistake of keeping Tony into block. If we have to because of the LT then it won't matter anyways. Without Tony running patterns we don't sniff the playoffs

Plus, this is why we have Jason Dunn. I know we like to run the 2TE set, but that's cause Tony has WR-like abilities, and Dunn, IMO is more of our TE than Tony is.

Tony is a WR who happens to line up where a TE would.
