stadiums have you been to?

Even if they're no longer standing,it's a boring Sunday night and I'm just curious to see where everyone's been.

Please feel free to elaborate as well, big game, good food, hot cheerleaders, whatever.

Nzoner staduim. With astroturf all you can eat food, beer and plenty of screans to the action. Security was lacking alittle bit though. I remember some of the doors on that staduim being torn up.

The Lambeau experience was a real downer. It was 2003? about week 12. The game was for the division lead between the Packers and Bears. Big deal, right? Big atmosphere, right?

Nah. It was a dud. It seemed like the game was a foregone conclusion. No atmosphere. It bugs me when Lambeau gets mentioned as the best "homefield" or best atmosphere. Not in that experience.

The renovated stadium is great for games but an abomination to behold - the "spaceship landing on top of the field" anology is 100% correct. Yuck. I can't believe the powers that be couldn't have done a better job conforming that turd to the existing and surrounding structures.

All I remember about that day is that we were in the endzone, northeast side I believe, and if I sat in my chair and looked straight ahead, I wouldn't even see the field, only the seats. Everybody in the section was at a 45 degree angle to watch the action. The concourses sucked, too. That was Gunther's first game as a head coach.

After that, we went to Dick's Last Resort and caught much shit for being Chiefs fans. It was actually kind of funny - the Chicago fans were almost stunned that they won the game, and weren't sure how to raz us properly. Heh.

in the 2004 season my wife (then girlfriend) and I drove down to jacksonville to see the chiefs play. the stadium sucked really badly, though it was nice location close to the water. The fans sucked also, they were like Royals fans, there for whatever, definitely not hardcore fans at all.

Heh. I was at that game, too. Perhaps you were one of the other Chief fans that were gathered around in the east concourse at halftime wondering WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED IN THE FIRST HALF. :banghead: The Chiefs were completely befuddled by all the trick plays of the new Bears gimmicky offense, but adjusted at halftime and shut them down. Unfortunately, we weren't able to come all the way back.

And yes, there were a ton of endzone seats in the old stadium. I've personally sat in the worst seat in the place - corner endzone, last row. It sucked. The new stadium is much better for seating - but Oh Sweet Jesus it's uglier than a bulldog's asshole.

It is a great place to watch a game. Even though I hate the Cubs, I love that field.

I expected Yankee Stadium to be like Wrigley and was roundly disappointed. Yankee Stadium is a f#cking pit. Just like most things in New York, it's only clean and nice on the surface.

It was pretty cool. I've seen it on TV countless times, yet was surprised how small it was when there in person. The game day atmosphere was incredible. And the icing on the cake was the bleacher bums trashing the field when the Cubs blew a 9th inning lead.

Been to Arrowhead dozens of times, but before it was jammed full every Sunday, only been back once since for a preseason game.

Fenway Pawk: Fathers Day gift to my dad.

Mile High Stadium: First ever Rockies home game and largest MLB crowd ever (over 80K)

Citizens Bank Park (Phillies) 3 times

PNC Park (Pirates) 3 times

Yankee Stadium: Yankees - Red Sox in May this year, just to say I've been there.

Other: Been to Ralph Wilson Stadium for a concert.
