Im finally catching up a bit with my 'ol computer. I have an old PentiumIII 600mhz processor with a 20gb harddrive and 196mb ram and old 15" crt monitor, no cd burner. Im not going top level performance (2.8 ghz processor/ 160 gbHD/1gb ram) but I think my new 19" flat panel will be nice and so will the cd burner. It wont ship out for about a week. Is there a way of saving all my "favorites" from my old pc to my new pc? Any other tips that may help me in my transition? Thanks to you experts for any tips.

You kind of build your own, but I started with the B110.

Cool..Im trying to talk one of my family members into buying one of the E310's right now. As for saving your favorites in IE, its pretty simple. Just click on file, then import and export and follow the directions from there. Just save the file to a thumb drive or CD.

Are you using Internet Explorer? If so, just export your favorites. It saves the file as HTML. You can then import them onto your new computer.

Hey, gochiefs. We should try to talk him into buying that nice portable computer that you saw the other day.

Gochiefs is right. That's the computer to buy. I bet you can call and make the upgrade.

A week to ship out? I thought they build it while you're on the phone, like in the commerical.

If you ever need Dell "customer service", I hope you are adept at deciphering thick Indian accents. Can get very frustrating.

Sorry to hear the news. I will never buy a Dell computer again. Especially the laptops.

I've got a Dell laptop, and it's wonderful. In a fire, it would be the first nonliving thing I carried out of the house.

:hmmm:

I've owned a couple of Dell laptops, and used them in a couple of jobs as well.

In a fire, it would be the first thing I look for as the POTENTIAL CAUSE.

Export book marks to a file upload to your email as attachment (mail your self) download when done.

Or do Sneaker net with a floppy drive.
